I do not present myself as a man who always knew.

For decades my wandering on the inner paths, mainly those of the East, drew my interest away from Christianity. I say it plainly. I do not apologize for those years and I do not disown them.

Then two things arrived together: a true Elder, present and real, and the fact that I was by then relatively mature. Those were the catalysts for the Lord to enter my life so forcefully.

If you have walked other roads, you are in the company of someone who walked them too. I do not set the wandering down here as error. I set it down as what made me ready.
